About Me

Hello World! I’m Yajing (Hazel), currently a second-year research master's student in the Amsterdam School of Communication Research (ASCoR) at University of Amsterdam, aiming for a PhD in HCI, computational social science starting Fall 2026.

I obtained my B.A in Journalism and Communication Science and International Relations and Organizations (cum laude) from the School of Journalism and Communication and the Honours College at Shanghai International Studies University. My academic background includes international study at Oriel College, University of Oxford, and Korea University, where I studied Political Philosophy and Urban Studies.
